  • Lately I've been the queen of making excuses and conclusions about why my life goes a certain way, and reading this simple and effective book kind of opened my eyes to the obstacles I create for myself when I give myself so much constraint on time and conditions because of my caretaker role. I felt really good and had some clarity on how to move forward confidently in my life after reading this, without making excuses or apologizing, but by making the best of what I do have and actually being open to opportunities that present themselves. I also love that the summaries are also great affirmations just to look at and reread gives me more confidence in myself and the power of a woman unrestrained and unapologetic in the world.
